Rooms

The nine individual cottages have been thoughtfully converted to a high standard. Whitewashed stone walls, exposed beams, and log burners combine with fully-equipped kitchens, comfy beds and cosy living spaces. Free WiFi is available in each cottage and all have a flat-screen TV with Freeview and some also have Sky TV with the movies and sports channels.

Oak, Willow and Rowan share an underground corridor that kids will love, linking the cottages together - perfect for group getaways. Elm, Trotters and Linhay have private outdoor areas with BBQs, whilst the others share a traditional courtyard with benches and BBQ.

Eat

Each cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. Private and communal outdoor spaces are perfect for barbecuing, or reserve the barbecue lodge for an afternoon/evening to enjoy summer dining no matter what the Devon weather has in store.

For larger gatherings or celebrations make use of The Hayloft which can seat up to 47 guests. Food can either be prepared in the cottages or the owners can arrange caterers for you. Witheridge is half a mile away and has a village store, and the local farm shop is just 5 minutes away. All the major supermarkets will deliver to Newhouse Farm Cottages.

Activities

You will have the use of an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, a toddler soft playroom, and a games room with pool, table tennis and table football to keep the teenagers happy. The indoor area adjacent to the Hayloft is perfect for a game of badminton, and you can play tennis at the Witheridge Tennis Club during your stay.

The 30 acre grounds are full of exciting finds, with fields for ball games, a football net and basketball hoop. The outdoor wooden play area has slides, climbing wall, swings, fort and lookout platforms. Located nearby is also the super trampoline with safety net. Wander around the farm trail, relax in the midst of flower-filled meadows and woodland, spot the resident badgers, barn owls and red deer, or head down to the river and lake for quiet contemplation and family picnics.

Accessibility

The Linhay is a fully accessible single storey cottage with 2 en-suite wet rooms. A shower seat and raised toilet seat with frame can be provided, and additional mobility aids can be hired locally through the owners.
