Chewton Glen hosts 70 bedrooms which offer a range of flexible family accommodation to suit all ages and family groups. The classic rooms and suites set in the main hotel building have traditional decor with luxury touches and many enjoy parkland views with private balconies or terraces. Interconnecting rooms are available and Coach House suites are perfect for larger families sleeping up to 6 over 2 floors.

The dining experience at Chewton Glen is top notch for both kids and adults. At The Dining Room, in-house chefs create delicious fine dining dishes. The Kitchen provides an informal dining experience from an à la carte menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, gourmet burgers, superfood salads and much more. Kids’ menus are available for lunch and dinner and during the school holidays, a childrens’ buffet dinner can be booked for fun, flexible communal dining. Kids under five eat free. If you want to truly kick back and relax, order food to your room from the 24-hour room service menu.

Activities

Cherished family holiday memories are made at Chewton Glen. Take a walk around the New Forest for a good dose of fresh air or head further afield to the nearby seaside. Picnics on the beach, pony treks in the New Forest or mountain bikes (hire a trailer for very little ones) are just some ideas. Nearby family-friendly destinations like Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, Bird World, Beaulieu National Motor Museum or Marwell Zoo will all be a hit with smaller children.

There is plenty to keep everyone happy within the extensive hotel grounds too. Make use of the large swimming pool or venture out to the outdoor pool (open May to October). Book the kids into their very own cookery class, explore the toys, films or Wii in the Beehive Children’s Club, or let them run free in the playground while you sit back and relax.

Accessibility

The hotel’s facilities have been painstakingly designed to be welcoming for disabled guests.
Accessible facilities include a drop off point at the front door for wheelchair access, with two designated disabled parking spaces close to the hotel. There is level entry to the main hotel, lounges and bar and ramp access to other areas. In the spa area you will find a disabled changing room, pool hoist and ‘stair climber’.

There are 14 ground floor rooms, accessible via a small step or ramp. There are handles by baths and in each shower cubicle. One dedicated disabled access room is equipped with features such as wider doors, lower level switches and controls and many other accessible fittings.
