Bring your wellies, especially for the adventure of heading to the beach through the woods.
Large groups can book the entire house, plus there are cottages and glamping options on site.

The Grove has a fantastic range of accommodation suitable for all group sizes and requirements. The 16 hotel rooms range from accessible doubles to family rooms that sleep up to four people. They are beautifully appointed, bright and airy spaces.

Eat

Hotel guests can dine at the award winning two AA Rosette restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner using seasonally inspired and locally sourced food. Afternoon tea is also served here, plus delicious Sunday lunches.

For families, a light bites menu served in the early evening is great for kids. As is the pizza menu, served from 5pm - 6pm inside, or outside until 9pm. Private dining is available for special occasions. And there is tasty food to sample off site – fish and chips at the beach is always a great option.

Activities

Family run and family friendly, The Grove offers a wealth of facilities for you to enjoy during your stay, including a spacious heated indoor swimming pool so that you and the kids can enjoy a swim whatever the weather.

Grown ups can head to the Massage Hut for some proper relaxation, will kids can exploring the grounds, discovering a fantastic tree house and a trampoline. And of course, the beach is only a short, and very pleasant, walk away through woodland.

The five Orchard Rooms are easily accessible ground floor bedrooms in the quiet corner of the garden. A disability-friendly bathroom can be found in Victoria Cottage.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By Road

The Grove is located just a short distance from the centre of Cromer, off the A149 (Norwich Road). It takes under three and a half hours from Leeds, London or Birmingham.

By Air

Norwich International Airport is the closest – only 45 minutes away. Alternatively, London Stansted is around two hours away and received flights from across the world.

By Rail

Cromer Station is a 20 minute walk to The Grove, or a five minute taxi ride. There are daily trains to Norwich.

Owner recommendations

North Norfolk is absolutely beautiful and there are so many wonderful beaches to discover – not least Cromer’s which is just a short walk away.
There’s plenty of National Trust properties to explore nearby, including Fellbrigg Hall which has buggy-friendly paths to explore through the estate.
Amazona Zoo in Cromer offers the chance to learn all about South America, as well as to get up close to animals like jaguars and tapirs.
Cromer’s beach is great throughout the year, whether rock pooling at low tide, collecting stones and shells, or searching for fossils.
Budding paleontologists will love ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure, complete with a splash zone for hot days.
For some good old-fashioned seaside fun, be sure to visit Cromer Pier.
