The Grove has a fantastic range of accommodation suitable for all group sizes and requirements. There are six beautiful cottages renovated with guests in mind; think cosy bedrooms, original features and immaculate kitchens and bathrooms.

Sleeping between two and six guests, larger groups can book multiple properties or grandparents can enjoy the family fun but with some space and respite of their own. Each cottage is directly linked to the great outdoors, allowing the peace and tranquility of rural Norfolk to blend seamlessly with your holiday routine.

Eat

Guests at the cottages are encouraged to head down to the main house and it’s fabulous dining rooms. The award winning two AA Rosette restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner using seasonally inspired and locally sourced food. Afternoon tea is also served here, plus delicious Sunday lunches.

For families, a light bites menu served in the early evening is great for kids. As is the pizza menu, served every evening. And there is tasty food to sample off site – fish and chips at the beach is always a great option. Of course, if you’d rather cook up a storm of your own, each cottage has a well equipped kitchen and space for dining.

Activities

Family run and family friendly, The Grove offers a wealth of facilities for you to enjoy during your stay, including a spacious heated indoor swimming pool so that you and the kids can enjoy a swim whatever the weather.

Grown ups can head to the Massage Hut for some proper relaxation, will kids can exploring the grounds, discovering a fantastic tree house and a trampoline. And of course, the beach is only a short, and very pleasant, walk away through woodland.

Accessibility

The Bungalow and Mrs Page’s have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. The Bungalow also features wide french doors and direct access to parking make it ideal for guests with limited mobility. The Barn also has a downstairs bunk room.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By Road

The Grove is located just a short distance from the centre of Cromer, off the A149 (Norwich Road). It takes under three and a half hours from Leeds, London or Birmingham.

By Air

Norwich International Airport is the closest – only 45 minutes away. Alternatively, London Stansted is around two hours away and received flights from across the world.

By Rail

Cromer Station is a 20 minute walk to The Grove, or a five minute taxi ride. There are daily trains to Norwich.

North Norfolk is absolutely beautiful and there are so many wonderful beaches to discover – not least Cromer’s which is just a short walk away.
There’s plenty of National Trust properties to explore nearby, including Fellbrigg Hall which has buggy-friendly paths to explore through the estate.
Amazona Zoo in Cromer offers the chance to learn all about South America, as well as to get up close to animals like jaguars and tapirs.
Cromer’s beach is great throughout the year, whether rock pooling at low tide, collecting stones and shells, or searching for fossils.
Budding paleontologists will love ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure, complete with a splash zone for hot days.
For some good old-fashioned seaside fun, be sure to visit Cromer Pier.
