The upstairs bedroom is the perfect place to cosy up, just remember this space is not suitable for children under 5.

Wooda’s S-Pods are a charming choice for smaller family groups. Sleeping up to five guests, these two-storey spaces blend style with functionality to deliver family-friendly comfort.

Inside, warm interiors complement the pod’s natural appeal. The living space is complete with an L-shaped sofa, smart television, and kitchenette, with plenty of room for all the family. Step seamlessly from indoors to outdoors through the integrated decking, and enjoy alfresco dining in the Cornish country air.

Back indoors, the main bedroom boasts a double bed with lift up storage, along with a smart television. The second bedroom is tucked away upstairs and features two cosy twin beds with Duvalay™ mattresses. While this quirky space is fun for big kids and teenagers alike, bear in mind that it is not suitable for children under 5.

Guests share access to a modern bathroom that features a large shower, WC, vanity basin, and an LED-lit mirror. While linens and bath mats are provided, Wooda asks that guests bring hand and bath towels along with them.

Eat

Inside your Pod you’ll find all the amenities you need to cook up a family-style feast. The stylish, modern kitchens are kitted out with a dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, oven, and fridge.

Wooda also boasts an impressive range of eateries and drink spots. Moo & Brew at the Yard is Wooda’s main restaurant, serving up an iconic menu of Wooda staples and specials between Thursdays and Sundays in the summer season. The Yard also hosts an exciting range of Street Food Style Pop Up Vans, subject to schedule throughout the summer. From Thai to Greek, and Chinese to Sri-Lanken, enjoy a range of global dishes made to order on site.

The Lodge Takeaway –

Serving up a selection of takeaway favourites including fish and chips, pizzas, salads, and breakfast too, The Lodge is the perfect pit stop for an easy dinner time treat.

Opening times vary throughout the year, with dinner-time favourites served Wednesday to Monday from 5pm to 9pm during School Holidays, and 5pm to 7.30pm in the Mid Season.

The Loft at The Yard –

Enjoy a coffee, cake, or soft drink in the Coffee Lounge, and, in the evenings, kick back, relax and enjoy Cornish beers and cocktails in the Loft Bar. With happy hours, socials, and a program of live local music throughout the summer, this is the perfect place for parents to rewind and for the kids to socialise.

Activities

At Wooda, family-friendly fun comes first. With a host of exciting activities, events, and experiences readily available to you and the kids on-site, you’ll find your holiday itinerary taken care of. Start your day with a walk through the woods or share breakfast with the farm animals! Here’s a little more of what’s in store for you and the kids…

Sports –

For the sports-obsessed, a round on the pitch ‘n’ put or match on the tennis and badminton courts is an absolute must. All activities are available to book daily at reception, with golf priced at £3 per person, per round, and court rental £5 per hour.

Kids are also invited to book onto a football or archery coaching session over school holidays. These lessons offer the perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy some down time, or to check out the fully-equipped on-site gym.

Crafts and Play –

There are plenty of creative activities for little ones to enjoy at Wooda. From arts and crafts to pottery painting and pop-up play, imaginations are free to run wild. For general play, toddlers can run around the Toddler Play Zone while big kids enjoy the incredible outdoor playground. There’s also a games room on site for rainy days, equipped with pool tables, table tennis, and a television area.

Nature and Extras –

At Wooda, there’s plenty to see and do in the great outdoors. Out on the grounds there are friendly farm animals to greet, nature trails to explore, and tractor rides for little ones to enjoy. Over in the Yard, families can also enjoy live music, food specials, and, for the grown-ups, a cocktail bar happy hour (or two).

Accessibility

There are four steps up to reach the caravan, the second bedroom is mezzanine style and has ladder stairs to access the high level twin bedroom.

Where is it and how do you get there?

By Road

Wooda is just 2 miles from the centre of Bude and is fully accessible by car with parking available on site.

By Air

Cornwall Airport Newquay is the nearest airport to Bude, with direct flights from airports across the UK and Ireland, as well as some destinations in Europe. Car hire is available on arrival in Newquay, with the drive to Bude.

By Rail

Bude itself has no train station, but nearby Okehampton has connections to Exeter, and then to London. On arrival at Okehampton, or other nearby towns such as Plymouth, Bideford, or Barnstaple, guests can take advantage of Cornwall’s fantastic local bus routes.
