Three Gates, a converted 17th Century farm, comprises five very lovely child-friendly rural holiday cottages, in the East Devon countryside. Jonathan, Lynn and Ellie May moved here in July 2010 – the move was featured on the popular BBC programme 'Escape to the Country'. It worked out and you will benefit from their goal to provide a relaxed rural retreat for families as each well-equipped, tastefully converted cottages provides a perfect retreat for you all after a busy day on your jollies.
The five stone barns sleep from 2-6, and combined can accommodate a group of 22. They each marry character with practicality and retain many original features, timbers and stonework. All except The Granary are on one floor.
Inside you’ll find fully equipped kitchens with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and a dishwasher. A laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is on-site. Linen and towels are provided. You’ll also have wifi, TVs and DVD players for family nights in. For extra comfort there are wood burners in Nuthatch, the Granary and the Smithy.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a surcharge of £20 per dog per week. Please note animals may not be left in the cottage alone, an experienced dog sitter may be contacted if required.
