What we think

"With tremendous views, a gorgeous selection of rooms - do upgrade to a sea view, it's absolutely worth it - delicious food and fabulous, fabulous child care, let alone spa to lose yourself in, Bedruthan is a true family 'escape from it all' kind of place. Do take a walk to the beach - it will be slow with real littlies, but it is absolutely worth it."

The kids say...

"The outdoor pool was my favourite and doing making in the (children') club - and chasing the sea-gulls on the beach!"

Eating at Bedruthan Hotel & Spa

Bedruthan is built into the side of a steep cliff face meaning that the hotel rooms and facilities are on a number of different levels. They do have specially adapted rooms available for guests, and the main three floors are accessible by a lift, however, there are still areas that are not totally accessible to wheelchair users. The team at Bedruthan are keen to make sure all guests have the perfect stay, so if you have accessibility needs, call their friendly reservations team.

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • We highly recommend having a surf lesson. Ask at The Surf Club Cornwall, located below us on the beach.

  • Walk along the South West Coastal Path to Bedruthan Steps. It’s a dramatic landscape you’ll never forget.

  • The Eden Project was a clay pit and was transformed into incredible biomes and gardens. It’s definitely worth seeing.

  • Padstow is a picturesque seaside village. Get a speedboat, hire a bike or simply take in the view.

  • The Lost Gardens of Heligan is a stunning natural playground with over 200 acres to explore.

  • Mawgan Porth beach just down the hill from us.
