The cottage has a spacious living room with stone mullioned windows that flood the space with natural light and offer stunning views of the gardens. With plenty of comfortable seating, a stone fireplace complete with a new woodburner, and a TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, it’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.For even more space to unwind, there’s a separate Snug. French doors open onto the garden, and inside, you’ll find table football, a second TV e, children’s toys, and extra seating. Perfect for children to have their own hangout spot.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with a new electric hotpoint hob, electric Neff oven, microwave, and dishwasher, it has everything you need to make cooking for family and friends effortless. The large wooden dining table, seating 8–11 guests, is at the heart of the room, perfect for family meals, board games, or simply coffee and conversation. A large utility room is off the kitchen, with space for muddy boots, coats, and all the extras families bring along. It also features a fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a back door leading to the garden.
There are 4 bedrooms at Dunford Barn with each offering flexible sleeping arrangements, allowing you to make adjustments to what fits you best.The Teal Room is a bright and spacious option, with a Super King bed that can be split into twins, plus an extra trundle bed if needed. The curved stone mullion window lets in loads of light and offers lovely garden views, and there’s plenty of storage with bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and a large wardrobe.
The Sage Green Room offers another Super King bed, which can also be made into twin beds, along with a third trundle bed for added flexibility. This room has bedside tables and hanging space for clothes, but note there are two steps down into the room and the patio door is locked for safety.
The Sky Blue Room features a Super King bed (which can be split into twins) and a trundle bed. It’s light and airy, with beautiful views of the garden, and offers bedside tables, a chest of drawers, and hanging space for clothes.
Lastly, the Yellow Room has a King bed, which can also be arranged as twins. It’s a practical room with plenty of storage space and lovely garden views, making it a comfy spot to relax
There are two family bathrooms, both designed for convenience and comfort. One features a bath with a shower attachment, great for a relaxing soak or a quick shower. The other has a spacious, enclosed walk-in shower. Both bathrooms are equipped with a heated towel rail to keep your towels warm and cosy, along with a sink, loo, and tiled floors.
There are multiple travel cots and high chairs available for little ones. You will need to request them in advance - cot linen is not supplied so make sure you remember to pack your own.
