About the owners

Helen & Steve

“Alsagra is a family run business. We have two children ourselves - Poppy who was born in 2003 and Michele who was born in 2005. So all of our toys, equipment and games have been expertly tried and tested. Steve and I are passionate about making sure that families have a relaxing holiday and are always on hand to provide any support necessary.”

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Located in a pine woods both adults and children can try their hand at cable-walking, swinging logs, aerial ropeway, crossing the birds’-view footbridge and go karting at

    Activo Park

    .

  • Relax in a hot spring at the nearby thermal pools. We’d recommend San Casciano dei Bagni with its modern spa, or

    Giovanni Terme Rapolano

which offers day passes for it’s five lovely pools.

  • Visit the wonderful beaches at Lago Trasimeno (20 minutes). Sualzo beach at Passignano is one of our favourites.

  • Castiglione Del Lago beach is good too - complete with play areas, a swimming pool, a sandy beach for building sandcastles, pedalos and a cafe serving drinks and food.

  • Open all year round, the magical Frasassi caves consist of an immense cavern and a series of large chambers, tunnels, wells and 13km of labyrinths ready to be explored.

  • Taking place in a local elegant Italian home, cooking classes with our local Italian teacher can cater for groups of all ages or special kid’s classes.

  • Take a guided tour of Perugia chocolate factory and museum, a memorable experience with chocolate samples included in the entry fee.
