Bosinver is a magical place. Set in a tranquil valley in Cornwall, not far from the south coast, the 20 holiday cottages sit in 35 acres of wildflower meadows and beautifully landscaped gardens. From chocolate box to eco-luxury Bosinver offers an array of fabulous accommodation, excellent child friendly facilities and a serious appreciation of what a family holiday is all about.

The gorgeous cottage have their own character and charm, but all share a feeling of luxury and epic countryside views.
The stunning Cornish countryside location makes it near impossible to not slow down and relax.
Kids will never be bored. There’s an indoor pool, play barn and games room, outdoor play area and a magical woodland to explore.

Top tips

Be sure to book onto a free pony ride. The resident ponies, Secret, Rupert and Kizzy are a treat to meet and the pony rides are always popular.
Can’t bring your own bikes with you? There are lots of places nearby for hiring bikes and equipment. Just ask at reception for extra information.
Don’t forget to pack your swimmers. The indoor heated pool is open year round. And it’s heated using solar energy – sustainable swimming!

To visit Bosinver is a little like going back in time offering a secure, laid back village atmosphere. There is nothing laid back however, when it comes to luxury holiday cottages, Bosinver has it covered; from eco homes to carefully converted former farmhouses, the 5* star cottages have been individually designed with luxury in mind.

The fabulous child-friendly cottages are furnished and decorated with aplomb to the very highest standards; some traditional, others more contemporary; all are so very well equipped and designed that you’ll thank Pat from the bottom of your heart! With stylish interiors and open plan living spaces, no matter which cottage you choose, we know you’ll enjoy every detail that has lovingly been put in place for you.

Eat

Self-catering is such a convenient and cost-effective option for young families. The cottages are kitted out with all you might need to provide a mid-morning snack or Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. If you fancy a night off cooking, order in some freshly frozen meals to pop in the oven and wait for it to heat up with a glass of wine to hand.

For meals out you are spoiled for choice… from sumptuous seafood fresh off the boat, to award-winning wine produced by local vineyards and nationally renowned clotted cream, Cornwall is a food lover’s paradise. Close by you'll find celebrated restaurants, including Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow - you'll find more ideas that come highly recommended by . Babysitting can be arranged should you fancy a grown up night out.

Activities

While there’s lots to do on the farm, Bosinver is ideally placed for exploring the rest of Cornwall. There’s plenty on our doorstep, too, so you don’t have to go far if you don’t want to. There are walks to enjoy and combined with a wild animal trail, complete with statues of the real things, (and prizes for finding them all) all will be entertained.

Alternatively, there's the tennis court, indoor swimming pool, games room, sauna, children's play room, adventure playground, fishing lake, outdoor toddler play area or the gym, not forgetting the animals to feed, eggs to find and ponies to enjoy. Then there's the most almighty hill to race or roll down to get to the zip wire. There is also a very pleasant and easy stroll of 15 minutes to the village shop – or the local pub that incidentally is award winning too, offers excellent food and caters for children.

Bosinver is just off the A390 a couple of miles outside St Austell.

By Air

Newquay airport is 20 miles away. There are usually taxis waiting outside.

St Austell railway station and bus terminal is only 3 miles away.

Pat and Dave Smith really are the heartbeat of Bosinver; having moved to the site in 1998, they’ve turned what was at the time a chalet park into the national award-winning self catering cottage business it is today.
