About this place

Best bits

  • These warm, comfortable ‘home-from-home’ cottages are well-equipped for families with books, toys, puzzles, games and baby and toddler equipment available.
  • The fields are bursting with wildlife. Regular visitors to Wood Farm include hares, rabbits, deer, hedgehogs and barn owls.
  • Wood Farm has two under-cover play areas, offering everything from table tennis to football goals; wet weather needn’t dampen your mood.

Top tips

  • The beach is just a short drive away, so bring your bucket and spade!
  • Pack your wellies and binoculars for exploring walking routes on your doorstep. Little legs might prefer the one-mile circular walk around the farm’s perimeter.
  • Well behaved pets are welcome in selected cottages, and can enjoy exploring the grounds and play area alongside children.

The accommodation was lovely, in great condition and had everything we needed. The views were amazing too. We felt very secluded and safe. We even got to see the two new baby lambs – which my daughter loved.

Chestnut and Beech cottages are both accessible, with ramps available upon request. All the play areas on-site are accessible, with paths across the mostly flat terrain and very little uneven ground. Full access statements can be provided by the hosts ahead of booking.
