About the owners

The Aava Resort Team

We fell in love with Khanom as young backpackers and never left. Our aim has been to create a perfect holiday spot for families like us, without compromising on food, design or atmosphere.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Nadan Beach is perfect for kids, who will love building sandcastles, collecting seashells or trying their hand at catching crabs.

  • Don’t miss the chance to see Khanom’s famous pink dolphins – the resort can organise a boat trip to help you spot them.

  • Spend the day exploring the coastline to find your own pristine, private beach.

  • Don’t miss the colourful local markets – the perfect change to try some exotic local fruits.

  • Head out to the mangrove forest for a unique ‘natural fish spa’ where fish nibble the dead skin off your feet. Kids will love it!

  • Watch the sun – and the moon – rise over Nadan Beach.
