Set high on a hillside and offering spectacular views, the beautiful, historic French chateau offers accommodation for large family groups of all ages. The elegant property, built in 1790, gracefully combines modern conveniences, such as good wifi, contemporary bathrooms and kitchen, with original features, high ceilings, wooden panelling and plaster holdings. There is space for up to eight adult guests, and a further two to three children at the chateau. There are two gorgeous double bedrooms on the first floor, one with its own ensuite bathroom. Further along the corridor is a twin room, with an ensuite shower room. A nursery with two beds and a cot provides accommodation for little ones, with a second shared shower room next door. You’ll find laundry facilities there too, so beach gear and dirty clothes can be easily freshened up.
Continuing up the sweeping staircase, is a third double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Plus an opening landing space, set up with comfortable seating, where guests can relax, read, or take a moment's respite. It’s a perfect room for spritely grandparents or any teens in the party. – ideal for older children or teens or for accompanying grandparents wanting a bit of space and privacy of their own. All the bedrooms are exquisitely decorated, feature traditional shutters to keep the heat and morning light out, and are supplied with excellent quality beds, linens and towels. There is space in each room for a cot to be added for required. Baby equipment that is also available to borrow includes a booster seat, monitors, potty, stair gates, bath toys, high chairs, changing mat, and more. There is no need to arrive laden down by equipment when visiting Chateau du Mas.
