About the owners

We have been sharing our wonderful home and surrounding countryside with guests for over 10 years. Travelling is one of our passions and only expect the highest of standards so we always ensure Talehay offers this as well as those special extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible and a holiday never to forget. We love helping our guests explore the local area and can advise on the best places to eat, places to visit and the many secluded secret bays to visit in the surrounding area.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Thrillseekers are spoilt for choice with Flambards Theme Park and Crealy Great Adventure Park both within reach.

  • No trip to this part of Cornwall would be complete without a day at the Eden Project.

  • Adrenalin Quarry has huge zip wires, giant swings plus coasteering, Go Karting and an aqua park.

  • Explore the creeks and backwaters of the Fowey River in kayaks or canoes.

  • Tamar Trails has loads of outdoor adventures for your family, including treesurfing, archery and cycle trails.

  • Looe is famous for crabbing, and it’s possibly the best £3 you can spend for hours of fun.

  • Head to the Camel Trail for beautiful, flat and largely traffic free cycle trails that the whole family can enjoy.
