About this place

Best bits

  • Loads of safe off-road outdoor space, with a paddock for games and tyres and a swing to play on.
  • Stunning cottages with reclaimed and upcycled furniture, metal work designed and created onsite, crisp linens and quirky little touches throughout.
  • Each cottage has its own private outdoor space for sitting out and making the most of the Devon country air.

Top tips

  • Join in with farm life by petting and feeding the animals, or taking a farm tour to see the cows being milked.
  • Take wellies or walking boots so you can enjoy the countryside.
  • The goats enjoy lots of vegetables - so be sure to grab some from the kitchen if you’re feeding the animals.

About the owners

Steve & Nikki

Listed since June 2019

Steve was born and bred on the farm and I (Nikki) moved here in 2008. Together we have converted the old farm parlour into beautiful holiday cottages. We have 3 young children and a dog so know what is really appreciated when going away and we have made our cottages as family & dog friendly as we can.

Owner recommendations

  • Just 30 minutes away is RHS Rosemoor - one of the most beautiful English gardens and a perfect family day out.

  • Eggesford is a great place to visit as a family with lots of different trails and paths that link woodland to the Tarka rail line.

  • Saunton Sands is about a 50 minute drive, with parking directly at the beach, good shops and restaurant facilities.

  • Quince Honey Farm is definitely worth a visit especially on a rainy day as there is a great soft play area, as well as the Bee World where you’ll find honey bees, hives and interactive information.

  • Exmoor Zoo has fab zoo trails to see animals in their habitats, plus lots of hands on activities.
