The Terrace is a private row of five stunning houses, located at the heart of Windermere village. Sleeping between 12 to 16 guests each, they can be booked in any combination (or all together) to accommodate large groups of up to 71. The four-star luxury properties are immaculately presented; each with a hot tub, private cinema room, excellent social spaces and soft, fresh bedding as standard. Number One sleeps 14 guests in six bedrooms; three superkings and one king are found on the first floor, and a kingsize double and family room (with four singles which can be arranged to suit you) are located on the top floor. The latter is also a great spot for kids to disappear to, while parents party downstairs in the stunning lounge. You’ll find one ensuite bathroom and three immaculate shared bathrooms across the two floors. White Moss sleeps 12 guests in five charming bedrooms; a lovely double with a four-poster bed, a cosy single, a spacious super-king and a triple room are located on the first floor, and share a family bathroom and a shower room. The top floor is home to the final bedroom with four single beds, and a wow-factor bathroom with a free-standing roll top bath. Wood-burning stoves keep the lounge and dining rooms cosy.
Alice Howe is a wonderfully decorated property with great social spaces and calming bedrooms. Up to 14 guests are accommodated in seven rooms, with seven bathrooms. There are two kingsize four-posters, four twins and a compact twin – plenty of space for everyone to find some peace, kick back and relax. Boston House sleeps up to 15; also in seven lovely bedrooms with seven equally lovely bath and shower rooms. There are two four-poster bedrooms and one half tester, two twins, one double (with a bonus single bed) and a bunk room. The charming lounge features a living flame fire and Chesterfield sofas. Bannerrigg, the fifth house in the terrace, sleeps up to 16 in five bedrooms with single divan beds that can be pushed together to make super kings if you so desire, all sharing four bright bathrooms. At Bannerrigg, nothing beats cosying up in front of the open fire in the fabulously sociable lounge and dining rooms. Outside every property you’ll find parking for six to eight cars. There are EV charging points at Number One, Boston House and Bannerrigg.
