About Meadow View Glamping

Meadowview Glamping has an enviable position, close to the ever popular The New Forest and just a short drive to the award winning beaches of Bournemouth and Poole. Push on a little further and you have the Isle of Purbeck and all it's beauty. It’s the perfect site to do ‘easy’ camping with welcoming staff, modern clean facilities and comfortable equipped bell tents.

A Yurt accommodates a family of five in a 5m diameter tent. A Bell tent will accommodate a family of four in a 5m diameter tent.

All the tents are waterproof with solid wooden floors and an awning so you can either shade from the sun or shelter from a shower. Each tent has a double futon bed with a memory foam mattress which is freshly made up with full bed linen. There are also two or three z-beds depending on your party size, each with sleeping bags and pillows. The wood burning stove (first bag of briquettes and firelighters are supplied) provides warmth if it gets chilly.

A camp kitchen is provided which includes double hob stove, cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery, cool box, washing up bowl and a drainer. LED lanterns are provided for inside light. There is an outside dining area, set up alongside every tent, along with a tripod bbq/fire pit - everyone should have the facility to toast marshmallows when camping. Fairy lights are wrapped around the guy ropes to add a bit of sparkle to your stay.

At Meadow Glamping bell tents are positioned overlooking the Meadowview Campsite.  The communal facilities are modern and clean and unusually fitted with heated towel rails, always a bonus if the weather forgets its summer.

There are separate gents and ladies toilet blocks. Hairdryers are fitted in the ladies. Soap dispensers and toilet roll is provided by the campsite.

If you need to refreeze your ice packs at Meadow View, you can use the freezer provided on the campsite.

Vehicles can be parked next to your accommodation, in the case of inclement weather you will be asked to park on hard standing spaces away from the field and the campsite staff will transfer your bags to your accommodation. There is a charge of £4 for any additional vehicle.

The campsite is a safe environment and the gate remains closed at times when it is not in use. You can bring your well behaved dog to enjoy your glamping break, however it is important to contact the site to make the necessary arrangements.

There is small shop set up in reception selling fresh eggs, briquettes and other essentials.

Meadow View is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  Areas on the actual campsite are being managed as a nature reserve for birds, giving fabulous opportunities for you and your children to get up close to the swifts and the swallow whilst butterflies and dragonflies flit over the fishing lake completing the idyllic scene.

Plenty of footpaths and bridleways start and finish at Meadowview, remember to bring suitable footwear and take a hike up to Horton Folly.

Just a short ride into the New Forest and you’ll find an amazing natural playground. The outstanding beaches of Bournemouth and Poole are within easy reach, the towns are also worth a visit.  Moors Valley is an adventure playground which is literally down the road, lots of open space, wooden play trails for older children and a smaller playground for youngsters, bikes can be hired there is a cafe on site, Go Ape have a site here too, so feel free to swing through the trees!

The Isle of Purbeck has traditional English seaside towns, ruined castles, clean beaches, country pubs and some exerting coastal walks.  Meadowview Glamping provides comfortable accommodation in an area where you can go as fast or as slow as you choose.

Terms & conditions

All payments need to be made in pounds sterling.

At the time of booking the balance is payable in full, including any extras you have requested.

Payment Options
The easiest way to pay for your holiday is online, through our secure payment system provided by Stripe. Card types accepted are Maestro, Visa and Amex. We will notify receipt of all payments, by email. It is also possible to pay over the phone or by bank transfer, please enquire. A booking has not been made until payment has cleared.

Our guests tend to be careful and we appreciate this very much. Sometimes accidents happen, and we ask that you let us know about any accidental breakages straight away (by phone, text or email) so that we can arrange repairs/replacements before the next guests arrive. Please don’t try to fix things yourselves, we’d rather know and deal with things later.

On booking we will store your debit/credit card details. A charge of £50 will be made to your payment card if the tent is left in an unacceptable condition (cleaning surcharge). In the unlikely event of there being damages or breakages we will notify you of any deductions first (don’t worry, we are not picky about little accidents like broken glasses!). You are liable for the full cost of any damage caused during the rental period.
