What we think

"We have just returned from a wonderful stay. I’m not a natural camper but this is a trip I could definitely do again - I felt relaxed and comfortable, and the girls had the most wonderful time"

The kids say...

"This has been the best holiday of my life!"

Due to the typical unreliable British weather the ground can be uneven at times, plus our spa cabins with flushing toilets & hot showers are up a few steps and therefore the site wouldn't be suitable for a wheelchair.

Location & local area

Where is it and how do you get there?

Gatwick Airport is the closest, hire a car and drive less than one hour to arrive at the farm.

About the owners

We set up Canvas and Stars Glamping as we really enjoy the combination of luxury and the outdoors. We love being in the countryside and spending quality time with our families.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, is nearby and a worthwhile trip for families with young children.

  • Bring your walking boots or bikes for some New Forest adventures. A beautiful forest that kids will just love exploring.

  • There’s lots to see and do at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Close to the site, it’s a great option for grey or rainy days.

  • Satisfy your retail therapy needs at Gunwharf Quays Shopping Outlet.

  • Go crabbing at the River Hamble - rewarding, old school fun for little ones and adults alike!

  • Or for some high-action fun, hire kayaks and explore the waterways by boat.
