Accommodation takes the form of seven lovely canvas hideaways. Two with ensuite showers, and five with private external showers. The hideaways sleep up to six guests in three separate spaces; there's a private double, a bunk bed perfect for kids and a cabin bed located in the living space (just swing the doors shut and a cosy sleeping den awaits).
Howbeck Lodge is an off-grid campsite, meaning electricity and wifi isn't available. But don't let that put you off. A wood burning stove keeps the open plan living space and sleeping quarters exceptionally cosy. As do the other home comforts that come as standard. A welcome package with bed linen, towels, candles, matches, washing up liquid and other basics is provided. Bespoke wooden furniture, a squidgy sofa and charming candle lighting.
