About the owners

Jeremy & Jodie

June 2020

We fell in love with Little Comfort Farm at first sight. Nature is our passion and the wildlife we have on the farm is astounding. Our vision was to create a luxury retreat for welly lovers – somewhere families big and small could gather, reconnect with nature, get muddy searching for otter footprints, lost in the meadow searching for orchids, watch and listen to bats around a campfire and then retreat to 5* cottages fitted out to the highest quality. We think we’ve achieved it – a holiday full of adventure, discovery but also little luxuries. We’ve so many more ideas too…watch this space!

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • For stunning walks, you’d be hard pressed to beat Braunton Burrows, the sand dunes behind Saunton Sands beach, which is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (and has pram friendly sections!)

  • Marine Drive is a relatively unknown part of Woolacombe beach with a great café and views from the car park are stunning.

  • Our children love Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

  • Ilfracombe makes a fun day out – don’t miss the bijoux aquarium, Damien Hirst’s stunning statue and cute shops and amazing restaurants on Fore Street.

  • For food, some of our favourites are Block in Barnstaple for breakfast, the King’s Arms in Georgham for Sunday lunch and Riverside in Braunton for dinner…we can give plenty more…!
