By air

By rail

Windermere station is under 10 minutes drive. Kendal station is around 20 minutes from the hotel.

Low Wood Bay is approximately 20 minutes from Kendal, and around 30 minutes from Junctions 36 and 37 of the M6.

Low Wood Bay has a fantastic reputation for its choice of facilities and stunning lakeside location. With two restaurants, a Health Club and a newly opened Spa, we really do have something for everyone. In addition, the Watersports Centre has a fantastic variety of great ways to enjoy the lake including paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing and wakeboarding – kids will be in their element.

  • For animal lovers the Lake District Wildlife Park is a great day out - the award winning park has over 100 species of animal, plus a great adventure playground.

  • Lakeland Climbing Centre is a perfect rainy day adventure with family bouldering, rope climbing and crazy climb sessions.
