Set in beautiful rolling countryside, much of which is a wildlife haven, these spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated cottages are set around a pretty courtyard.
The Holiday Cottages
All of the cottages are full of character as they have been converted from the original farm buildings which date back to the 18th century. All have fresh rugs, leather suites and large flat screen TV's & DVD players. All kitchens are well equipped with oven and hob, microwave, fridge or fridge freezer (some also have dishwasher).
The Old Farmhouse is a charming historical farmhouse which has been tastefully renovated to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to ten adults, plus two infants in five bedrooms. The Old Farmhouse has a massive kitchen, two lounges (plus two TV’s and two log burners). It also has its own Wi-Fi connection in the property.With its own private south facing garden, large patio area and parking for up to three cars the old farmhouse is perfect for a large family get together or for two families to holiday together.
Little Owls is a fantastic new barn conversion with its own large private garden with a decking area and great views and parking. It has three bedrooms, all ensuite (the master bedroom has a separate dressing room and a wet room). It also has a large kitchen, plus a massive upstairs lounge / dining room (with vaulted beam ceiling, log burner and doors out to the garden and patio). Up to two additional children can sleep on fold away beds or cots.
Rosebud is a charming three bedroom cottage, with its own private patio area. It has three spacious bedrooms , and two bathrooms (the master bedroom is ensuite). It also has a large farmhouse style kitchen, plus a spacious and charming lounge (with log burner and doors out to the patio area). All of the bedrooms have great views of the farm. Up to two additional children can sleep on fold away beds or cots.
Shires Rest is a quality barn conversion with plenty of character and original features. It has three bedrooms (a large en-suite king, a twin and a single). It also has a large upstairs open plan lounge / dining / kitchen with vaulted beamed ceiling and log burner. Up to two additional children can sleep on fold away beds or cots.
Twinkles is again a quality barn conversion with great views across the farm. It has two bedrooms, both ensuite. It also has a large open plan upstairs lounge / dining / kitchen (with vaulted beamed ceiling and log burner). An additional child can sleep on a fold away bed or in a cot.
Waggoners is a beautifully converted farm building, with its own private garden and great views. It has two bedrooms and a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area (with vaulted beam ceiling, log burner and doors out to the garden and patio). Waggoners is all on one level. An additional child can sleep on a fold away bed or in a cot.
Threpney Byre is an imaginatively converted 'roundhouse' and is full of character. The bright and spacious open plan downstairs living space (plenty of room for four), has a kitchen area with views of the courtyard and a dining area. Also on the ground floor is the large bathroom/W.C. with a bath and a separate shower cubicle. There is a charming double bedroom upstairs (with space either site of the bed for an additional bed or cot – or both). Two young children can also sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge or on fold away beds in the bedroom. It also has a private and sunny courtyard/garden.
The Mealhouse is a delightful conversion of an old farm building, with vaulted ceilings and plenty of character. The cottage has a cosy lounge and a light and modern fitted kitchen and a very attractive double bedroom with vaulted and beamed ceilings. Off the bedroom is a shower room and W.C. Two young children can sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge or there is room for a cot in the bedroom. It also has a private and sunny courtyard/garden with uninterrupted views across the front fields and down to the ponds. The Mealhouse is all on one level.
There is access to a free DVD library with a good selection of grown up films and many children's favourites. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are all included, together with cots, highchairs and stair gates (on request). Guests have the use of a shared laundry room. A babysitting service can also be arranged.
