  • Poole is only 30 minutes away and is the epitome of harbourside chic, with plenty of bars, restaurants as well as an arts centre and ferry trips.

  • One of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks Durdle Door is well worth a visit for its natural limestone arch and beautiful beach.

  • Take a trip down memory lane with a steam train ride on the Swanage Railway.

  • Fans of the TV show Monkey Life will have a memorable day out at the ape rescue centre Monkey World.

  • Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth has rides, a petting farm, pony rides and the largest natural hedge maze on the south coast - a perfect day out for those with younger children.
