We loved the amazing countryside views offered up on the Tors. And the proximity to the fabulous coastline! The huge beach at nearby Westward Ho was perfect for long walks and paddling in the sea.

Combine a luxurious stay with days out on the beach and walks along the beautiful North Devon coast in one of Westward Livings 4* and 5* cottages. This peaceful 60 acre farm has style, charm and plenty to keep the little ones happy.

The award winning 2 mile stretch of sands at Westward Ho! is merely minutes away in the car or around a 20 minute walk. Duckhaven Stud is set in an AONB and has private access to the South West Coastal Path making it a perfect base for walkers and nature lovers. The coastal villages of Appledore, Instow and the cobbled streets of Clovelly are all nearby, as are the surf havens of Saunton and Croyde.

Kids will love the heated indoor plunge pool (open during summer months) and play areas with table tennis, pool, basketball, climbing frame and a wendy house to explore. Take a tour of the studs resident racehorses or try petting some of the farm animals. For those looking for some pampering you can book a massage in your cottage. The Barn provides a space to meet and relax, has DVDs and board games you are welcome to borrow, and hosts events for those staying on site during summer.
