Heath View is a tranquil haven in the heart of Suffolk set in a private and peaceful setting. It sits within a gated and secure well cared for garden, amidst beautiful trees inhabited by woodpeckers and other wildlife, yet is just minutes from amenities in Ipswich with excellent road and rail links for travel (Ipswich rail station 10 minutes by taxi and one hour from central London). Jasper and Lynne, your hosts, could not be more welcoming and helpful, With four children themselves they really understand what makes the perfect family getaway and they have worked tirelessly and with passion to create this idyllic set up for families and friends.
Throughout the accommodation is bright and airy with tasteful decoration - everything has been considered to maximise comfort and minimise the amount of child related gear required to transport.
The open plan nature of the accommodation, with wide corridors and large rooms, is perfect for keeping an eye on your children while cooking, eating and relaxing, it's also very well-suited for extended families owing to the single storey layout – it's ideal for crawling or toddling children, as well as for grandparents with potentially reduced mobility.

The Garden and Play Area
From the minute you arrive here with your little ones you will instantly feel at ease and they will be happy and entertained throughout. There are no awkward steps to navigate and the garden is private and secure.
There is a fabulous hand-built play deck which allows children of all ages to explore different themes at different levels. Opposite this is a secret playhouse for mini adventures. Beyond the private garden is an area, shared only with the owner'schildren, which boasts a large sunken trampoline, a basket ball hoop, a marvellous large, deep sandpit full of spades and toys, slides for all ages, plastic cars, see saws, swings and monkey bars. There is a grass tennis court and clever climbing poles nestled in amongst the tree lined border of the garden.
There are eggs to collect in the morning from the chickens, pigs to visit in the summer months and Jasper even offers a nature walk in the warmer weather.
To keep teenagers occupied, there is table football and table tennis available in the games gazebo, as well as a cricket set and footballs.
The Indoor Pool
The private indoor heated pool is a short walk across the garden, is well equipped with toys and at 34 degrees, the kids were happy and warm, including our 6 week old. Our 3 year old developed a lot of confidence in the pool owing to the warmth, large steps and ability to swim to the sides easily. There are non-slip tiles around the side. The pool is available from 9am to 9pm. There is a hoist allowing the pool to be fully accessible. There is a hot tub outside the pool which overlooks the garden and children play area for a relax whilst being able to watch the kids. During hot spells the bi-fold doors can be opened to enjoy the weather. A hammock and various deck chairs are scattered around to relax in.
The pool is 6 meters x 2.5 meters x 1.2m deep and kept at around 30C.
