What we think

"If you're looking to get away from it all in a peaceful, countryside setting then Cologin near Oban on the west coast of Scotland is just the place. The location is picture perfect - huddled in the surrounding hills surrounded by wild Scottish countryside and you couldn't be further away from the stresses of city living. A ‘haven in the hills' it is indeed."

About the owners

Linda & Jim

Listed since February 2011

We are keen sailors, and while the west coast is our playground, Scotland is our passion. Linda is a yellow badge walking guide and an active member of the business community. Jim loves to share his enthusiasm for the sea and his country with visitors. This year we’re joined by our eldest daughter Katie who is now managing Cologin. She and her fiancé Andy now live at Cologin in a beautiful new build which has left her parents with house envy! Katie and Andy have a furry family of their own - Toby the yellow lab and Archie their cat. Cologin is our home and our livelihood and it’s important that our guests leave as friends.
