Emma & Rob

Listed since September 2013

Rob has spent most of his career in the potato industry, only venturing into self-catering in 2008. Saying that he does have a rudimentary grasp of tourism knowledge having worked in a kiosk on the local beach selling ice-creams during his school summer holidays. You'll find him around the farm exporting potatoes most days when he isn't overseeing the sites maintenance.

  • Clacton Pier is great for a fun day out, along with miles of sandy beaches along the coast.

  • The local Curve Aqua Park offers inflatables to play on, paddle boarding and wake boarding.

  • Hasty's Farm is perfect for younger children with small animals to pet and learn about farming.

  • Colchester Zoo is a 30 minute drive away and is well recommended for a family day out.
