Stay in one of three delightful self-catering holiday cottages (2 bed sleeps 4, 3 bed sleeps 6 and 7) on a small traditional Welsh farm in a quiet location. Take part in child sized farming activities, treasure hunts and quizzes. Be Farmer Rob's Assistant help feed the animals and collect fresh eggs for breakfast and even train the piglets. Rare breed piglets to visit all year round, lambs at Easter and Highland calves due any minute! Lots of fresh air, space to run around, amazing starry skies and a safe haven for children.

The holiday cottages stand at the end of their own private drive passing through the farms own pastureland. The holiday cottages provide a welcoming "home away from home", each with their own unique character and are tailor made for a self-catering holiday with family and friends. Tastefully converted from old farm buildings, the 4* self-catering cottages retain many character features including exposed beams and thick stone walls.

Holiday Cottages

The charming stone cottages are arranged in an attractive courtyard setting and sleep between 4 and 7 people plus cots. Alternatively, they may all be booked out together to accommodate up to 17. Warm and comfy, clean and well equipped, you can be confident that all you have to do here is relax and enjoy the space and pace of the Welsh countryside. Delightful cosy cottages with quality bed linen and fluffy white towels, a wood burning stove for winter and BBQs for summer. The cottages Hayloft (2 bed sleeps 4), Milking Parlour (3 bed sleeps 6) and Coach House (3 bed sleeps 7) nestle in a sunny courtyard ideal to enjoy breakfast and the garden area to the rear is perfect for BBQs and garden games.

The Farm Animals

Experience a small slice of rural life. Child sized farming for a perfect family friendly holiday. Small numbers of rare breed animals to ensure children are not overwhelmed and to give you a peek of farming without the interruptions to your holiday of a large working farm.
The herd of pigs ensure plenty of piglets throughout the year for visitors to enjoy. Children will love to join the daily feeding rounds as the farmer's helper and can even collect eggs for their breakfast from the chickens. A small flock of Cotswold sheep with their shaggy fleeces provides a lambing experience at Easter. Watch them leaping around the fields and help feed the pet lambs. You can also visit the highland cattle Morag, Poppy, Agnes and Bonnie their friend Wallace and calves Maisie and Maggie. Dora the Angora and Gerty the Golden Guernsey goat along with Toffee the Welsh Pony complete the family. They love little visitors especially the treats of apples and carrots!

Location and things to do in West Wales

Cwmcrwth Farm is set in idyllic countryside close to Llandeilo and Carmarthen. It is also within easy reach of the beaches of West Wales making it a perfect family holiday location. The area offers a wealth of tourist attractions within a few miles including the National Botanic Gardens, Aberglasney and NT, castles, mountains, country parks and beaches. Horse riding, caving, mountain biking, fishing and walking are just a few of the local activities. 7 golf courses (both parkland and links) test golfers of all levels. For shopping Llandeilo with its trendy boutiques is 4 miles and Carmarthen 10, with an indoor food market and the usual high street stores.
