By road

Centrally located, The Nest is easily accessible by road from anywhere in the UK. Only a two and a half hour drive from London, 90 minutes from Birmingham or three hours from Manchester.

By rail

Peterborough Station is the closest, only 10 minutes away.

We are a young couple who escaped the hustle and bustle of London for a slower, relaxed outdoor lifestyle. With space to breathe we have embarked on our own adventure – The Nest. Offering the best quality accommodation in a fantastic location, we hope guests love it as much as we do.

Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Spend the day at Sacrewell Farm in the beautiful Cambridge countryside. There is food, farming and a Country Centre to visit.

  • Fun and history is combined at Burghley Garden of Surprises. Kids will love these gardens packed with water features to splash about in.

  • Train enthusiasts young and old can take a ride on Nene Valley Railway with heritage steam and diesel trains.

  • Golfers can relax in the knowledge that there are three sites nearby open to visitors 7 days a week. Greetham Valley is best for beginners.

  • Visit the quaint riverside village of Wansford and tuck into some yummy pub grub at traditional stone pub The Paper Mills.
